Norfolk County Council release Household Hazardous Waste Day events

Norfolk County Council do not normally accept hazardous waste at their recycling centres however their free annual household hazardous waste days (amnesty) when they will accept certain hazardous waste items have returned again this year. Events are being held across the county on selected dates in September and October 2018.

1 and 2 September – King’s Lynn

8 and 9 September – Caister

15 and 16 September – Dereham

21-23 September – Ketteringham 

28-30 September – Hempton

6 and 7 October – Thetford

12-14 October – Mayton Wood

Waste is hazardous if it can cause harm to humans or the environment and includes any waste that needs specialist disposal.
